Rapper T.I. checks into prison
Allhiphop reports:
Rapper T.I. checked into a federal prison in Forrest City, Arkansas today (May 26).
Confusion briefly broke out this morning about the time of the rapper's surrender, which occurred around 12:29 CST, sources told AllHipHop.com.
T.I., born Clifford Harris Jr. is now serving a 366-day federal prison sentence for attempting to by illegal machine guns and silencers from undercover agents in October of 2007.
Officers blockaded the prison entrance and refused to allow reporters any closer than within 170 yards of the prison.
A source told AllHipHop.com that T.I. was issued a new check-in date, which may explain the delay.
T.I. originally faced 10 years in prison for attempting to purchase high powered AK-47’s and AR-15s with silencers.
Representatives for T.I. were not available to comment as of press time.
T.I. recently preformed a farewell concert in front of 16,000 fans on Sunday (May 24).

L.D.M. AKA MR. MASTERPIECE- MAXI SINGLE RELEASE
(Buffalo, NY) – There is a new voice making noise in the intensely competitive world of hip hop music. Western New York rapper/producer, L.D.M. is hitting the scene with his new maxi-single entitled L.D.M. (Leader of Da Movement). His lead single, the bass-heavy anthem “Kickdrum“ showcases him in true emcee fashion, riding a club track with a rhyme pattern infectious enough to remember after one listen. On song two, he puts on for the Upstate New York region, with his track “Upstate Streetz” ft. Rel Shellz. In this song L.D.M. who also goes by Mr Masterpiece displays raw lyricism and vintage production that instantly take you back to the golden era of Hip Hop. The last song, “You Don't Understand” featuring rising R&B singer/songwriter Beka has a strong message encouraging listeners to slow down before passing judgment on each other.
This maxi single is the prelude to L.D.M.'s full length album also entitled Leader of Da Movement. The album features an impressive list of up and coming artists and producers, including Mr Masterpiece's partners in rhyme, Tha Empyre. This project is available at www.mrmasterpiece.com.
L.D.M.'s Story: L.D.M. aka Mr Masterpiece is a rapper/ producer born and raised in the Buffalo, New York area . As a youngster he was introduced to Hip Hop by his uncles, who lived the new culture by break dancing and deejaying. He sites Hip Hop greats Run-DMC, Eric B & Rakim and Slick Rick as some of the early influences that he can remember. By the time he reached his early teenage years L.D.M. was working in the studio, rhyming along with producing for other up and coming artists in his area. Today, he works closely with Tha Empyre and R&B/Soul singer Beka. He is also co-founder and creative director of Masterpiece Media Group.
